Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates called his method "Contrology".
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of exercise that combines one's mental focus with the physical movements being performed. It is foundational in teaching proper body alignment and mechanics, pelvic stability and spinal mobility. By training the mind and body to work together harmoniously, stronger, more fluid movement is achieved.

Four months later, working out twice a week, I have lost inches and 8 pounds and have become a lot stronger. The classes are never boring and the hour flies by. I leave feeling invigorated, energized and so relaxed! Stephanie is a wonderful, patient & awesome instructor. Thank you for making me feel better about myself, improving my balance, and strengthening those darn arthritic knees.
